Finally piecing together the parts to get the coupe off the jack stands. Although I am still waiting for the rear axles, I got the front wheels and tires on and mocked up the rears. Starting to look like a car again. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=409232
Looks like the new shoes are going to fit just right. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=409232
Finally got the rear axles and brakes drilled for 5 on 5 1/2 for the 40 Ford wheels. Now the coupe is on the ground and is showing it real attitude and stance. I'm liking it.
Hope mine turns out as nice as yours. Of course you have to work on these projects to get them done which is something I cannot get to do lately.

You are correct, it has the So-Cal springs front and rear on the So-Cal AV8 chassis. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=409232
Spent the day out in the garage, 110 degrees with high humidity, a few beers, lots of water, and was able to get my seat mounted. I used the Glide seat and was disappointed to find that they are using a different seat back ratchet which caused the seat not to be centered in the compartment. The ratchet was considerably wider than those used years ago when I built my roadster. I had to modify the interior door jam and the support bracket to clear the mechanism and to center the seat. I also made my own seat riser in order to get the seat as low as possible but still able to have clearance for the adjusters for the slight chance a short person (wife) needs to drive. Also, I removed the rear package tray and gained a ton of leg room. With the seat all the way back I cannot reach the firewall with my legs stretched all the way out. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=409232
