DF4F4DFD-136F-432F-BC94-1489A705B8D9.jpeg 1930 Ford Model A pickup. This is a cool older vintage hotrod with a little bit of patina but needs a little bit of work to be road worthy. Has 283 Chevy V8 with 461 double hump heads and a vintage GM aluminum intake from a 1969 Z28 (part #3932472.) It has an automatic transmission, I believe it is a TH350. 1957 Chevy rear end, original Ford dropped front axle. Old school black vinyl tuck and roll interior. Stainless steel dash and firewall. Chrome window garnish moldings. Paint is pretty good and has old school pinstripes. Black vinyl sliding hard bed cover. Overall body and bed are really solid, no evidence of rust, even floor under seat is very solid and clean. Rear fenders are steel, front are fiberglass. Ansen swing brake pedal and 1940 Ford master cylinder mounted on firewall. Looks to be True-Spoke wire wheels. Split wishbones in front and a homemade rear 2-link set up with original cross spring. Custom gas tank under bed. Clean California title (currently on non-op -no back fees). Currently registered with original CA 1930 YOM (year of manufacture license plates.)
Now for what it needs: needs brakes finished but most parts are included. Front backing plates have been cleaned and painted and are ready to be installed. New master cylinder has been installed and new front Bob Drake shoes, new springs, soft lines and wheel cylinders are included. New rear wheel cylinders are also included. Will need new metal lines ran from master cylinder to wheels (old brake system had moisture in lines.). It will also need the steering box mounted. A mid 50’s ford truck box is included along with a steering column and Grant steering wheel that were previously installed. Fab work will be required to mount steering box to owners liking. Also both side windows are cracked/broken but new felt channels and new window regulators and window mounts are included. The previous fab work done on the frame was amateur grade and should be at least inspected closely before putting it on the road (old steering box location, rear trailing arm mounts, etc.) It has been driven like it is, but just trying to do full disclosure so there are no surprises for new owner. Truck has been sitting for a few years but engine did fire up with very little effort. Tires have a lot of tread but age is unknown.
Would make a cool little truck with a little bit of effort.
Truck is available for inspection. Email or call with specific picture requests, but it may take a day or two to get them. Call with questions 559-269-4756
