Thanks guys! Radiator will be in tomorrow. We just ordered a shit ton o small odds and ends for the car.
We are extremely happy with how it's coming together. It will be time for paint before we know it.
Also my brother decided to not fill the roof, he is installing an original vinyl top.
The car will be 1933 ford cordoba grey , center caps will match the body. With a black top and the factory black stripe option.
    It should look great !

Radiator came in. We got installed with some nice stainless upper elbows from summit. I'm going to make a stainless steel grill insert.... Like on Andy's car.. It will be a good look for this sedan. And it will protect the aluminum radiator .
We run the flathead for an hour tonight . Oil is super clean. Car stayed nice and cool. We have a fan problem . Its way to big, and I cannot cut it down enough. We will see how it acts this sprig before I get drastic with it ..
But we are making good progress and it will be ready for body work in a few days. We need to wire the car, adjust the brakes and set the floor boards In place . We also rebuilt the fuel gauge the other day and installed a new dash and ignition switch .

My car is in New Mexico and I'm in Florida until mid May. My car is ready for disassembly and paint, then wiring and upholstery. I'm itching to get it done, but my work is not as nice as yours.

I stripped painted grill shell and primed it , fabbed up a stainless grill insert that my brother wanted, it still needs wet sanded and polished an we still need to hot coat the radiator black . . we installed the hub caps, and let it run for a while again. New water pumps are on the way since these two started leaking. I'll post a video too .. This motor fires like its fuel injected and runs soooooooo good. Very quick throttle response and it stays super cool

I chopped the windshield frame today. Got it all fit in. Waiting on a new top hinge for it.
We also did some radiator work. I move the filler neck to the factory location on the aluminum radiator . It was on the back side for a filled grill shell.
The original water pumps started leaking the more and more we ran the engine. So we ordered 2 new updated style pumps . Those should be here Monday. Then we can take the windshield frame up and have the glass made. Then it will just about be test drive time!

    Well.
We haven't done a damn thing. Radiator shop has the radiator and it's been over a month. Still not done ! Wtf!

However. I said we sold a rat rod and built this car. The guy finally picked up the rat rod. He paid for it months ago.

Na. Rat rod is a rat rod. It needed an entire new body to be a hot rod.
No we Did not box the frame on the sedan. My 30 coupe with a blown flathead is unboxed and it handles like a dream

We finally got the radiator done today!
Thanks to mat for welding it up for us. He knocked it out and we were back home filling it with antifreeze
We also installed the spreader bar in the front and the fog lights I picked up off the hamb a few weeks ago.

Installed the battery and cables, starter solenoid , and most of the wiring... Fired it up and let it warm up and ran it for about 30 mins. Oil pressure stayed 25 lbs at full operating temp. I was very impressed . This is a great engine!
Tomorrow I'll adjust all the brakes up, adjust the clutch and she will be about ready for the first test drive

I moved my sedan from 'hotrodderhaags' garage and I'm doing all the finish up work on it to get it road legal as soon as possible.. As it sits now the sedan will remain in primer with an open top.. Within the next couple weeks all the remaining parts will be ordered to finish to build.. The attached pics are after the floors have been put in and a rough fitting of carpet.. I have driven the car a handful of times on the back roads and it handles far better than expected... Very smooth ride for an 85 yr old vehicle.. Engine runs great and transmission seems to work just fine.. I'll update as I get more done...
