What you need to do is get that thing out of hiding and bring it all the way across the country for the Jalopy Showdown. I would love to see that thing rip up the track!!!

Of course I would have to get my ass there to see it for once.

Ist time I've seen this one. My new hamb favorite. Almost exactly what my new build is planned as including the T truck rails. What ever the tank is, it adds a lot to the style. Real nice feel to this car.

Very cool car! What is the history on it? I assume it has been preserved for many years by someone so I would love to hear the story behind the car. Jim

It should be required of anyone building a T to have to look at these pictures first. That thing is Bad Ass.

That's funny. If I could drop my hamburger fueled frame down from 250, I might be able to fit in one :p

Glad you dug the T out to get some pics. Its amazing what you'll find tucked away in the corners now that I got the Plymouth is out of your way!

Skip, can you give us a little more info on this car? You put it together, right? Do you plan to get it running and driveable, eventually?

Gotta say, it does look pretty damn cool tucked away back in the corner of your garage, like it really was built long ago and left sitting there.

    Thanks for the photos!

I liked it then and I really like it now. Great job, maybe someday I'll get done with my current projects and build a Gowjob.

  24. In the interest of this thread being a bit more informative, was there any 'storyline' of this car (ie who, what and where, driveline, current and future)?

Whilst I recognise 'parts', and can see/appreciate what's taking place etc, would love to know more.

    Cheers,

    Drewfus

That is sweet. Just like a lot of other guys I have had a similar one in being planned in the back of the brain for years and have most of the parts and pieces out back waiting their turn to be made into a car.

I installed a new hard drive last night and this morning and those are the first photos saved on it. I may have to print out a couple to put on the inspiration wall in the garage.

The drivers side shot from the rear quarter makes a great desktop background too.

  28. Absolutley one of my favorite HAMB cars and thanks again for psoting more pictures.

Don't know if this has been answered, but what is under the hood?

    I think it's a 2.2 or 2.3 liter Ford 4-banger. Out of a Courier pickup or Pinto?
