Projects 1926-27 MODEL T DOOR LATCH

Does anybody have a diagram or reference for the T door latch. I'm having trouble figuring out how to install the spring ? Thanks , Bill

There's a " model T forum that has some posts , pictures & discussions . Yours just has the 2 coil springs , right ?

 

I figured out the spring that pushes the latch mechanism back. I still working on the other spring. Bill

 

Look at my build thread - "getting the bugs out". I devoted a bunch of pictures to this.

 

Got one in the workshop. Will see if I can find it
