I visited that place in the late 90's.. Total overload. I took 2 or 3 rolls of 35mm film pix. I specifically remember this car. Great post Joey!!
I was there several years ago, spent a couple of hours and could have spent more. Don's wife was taking the admission at the door. What a great lady. It's a must see for every hot rodder.
Here's some vintage photos of Houston Eggleston's Deuce Cabriolet: images from the Karl @KKrod Knecht Archives
I’ve visited thee years ago and pass by it usually about 8 times over a four month period escaping Ohio winters. That place is outstanding. That roadster is just one over many many cars you’d provide a left nut for. Was hoping to run into big daddy sometime. Louisville? Too fkn hot.
Billy Huliet owned it for years sold it to Don in the mid 90s for 17k. Billy and Don were good friends.
Houston Eggleston was from Denton, Tx. I hope to see this car some day. Pretty amazing it is in "as raced" and driven condition from that long ago. Great photos Joey.
