I'll watch this vid later...I remember one of these big car racers being trailed by an Aircraft...was it this one...perhaps it was much more commonplace than I am aware of... Love this vintage go fast...I remember seeing a couple going nose to nose side by side as well...There's a couple of Hambers that have big car Dry lakes Racers... Should be a fun thread... @Jive-Bomber...
Thanks for sharing.......it's crazy how relaxed everyone is with safety and all back in the day. It was kinda' nice to see the team effort and his family with him at the end. I truly couldn't imagine driving on the salt at night like he did. Oh yea, I like how they got the truck unstuck after breaking thru the crust layer. Haha. Chris Nelson Kansas
