3/4 ton AD...why don't you scrape the barnacles off numbers on the engine, so we can see what it is

    looks like a 216?

by the wheels and the open drive line. I can't tell on the engine, I didn't study it, but looked to me like the side cover went up over the head. I could be wrong.

With the parking brake on the trans I would say it's a 48 or 49,I had a 50 and a 51 3/4 tons and both had a pedal parking brake near the door. If the AD came out in mid year 47 it could also be a 47.

Both my 50 and 51 3\4 tons had a mostly open drive shaft with a short torque tube coming off the trans,I think the one ton p/u had a slightly longer wheel base and this one looked normal 3/4 ton length so I would say its a early AD.

It's either a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. It looks like someone may have taken the cab and nose off it and rolled it down the boat ramp and off into the water.
I can't see what type of shocks it has to be able to narrow down the year but the engine does look to have the short side cover meaning pressure oiler.
