Bet you find out mis-print, Ford actually has 80 hp. Merc has 100 hp, why all Flatheads are called MERCS, like all displaced small block Chevy's are Corvette.
What a great little booklet. The 30hp rating is probably something like the British "Taxable horsepower". Didn't they get 8hp Fords in England?
That's one helluva lot simpler than the 200+ page owner's manual for my 2017 Ford. One of the several reasons I am giving thought to dumping the 2017 and maybe making my '40 Tudor my daily driver. Simple, as in can be fixed on the side of the road, sounds appealing. That little book is great. Gotta wonder what others he had that he sold the day before.
The parking garage would have interested me, but the hip hop probably would have kept me away (I'm an old fart). Great find, now all you have to is find the car to go with it! When are you heading to the right coast?
Polyprints has reproduced many of the early V8 owners reference books, over a period of many years. Gradually the books have become to appear more like the originals. The owners reference books were in the glove box when the vehicle was first purchased. They were originally inside a special envelope.
