Roll model for all lady gearheads to follow. The reenactment tour starts this month.Click on the website and watch the vedio, check out the route, donate a few bucks, whatever. I hope the trip goes well, but if they have a problem a HAMB member will be close by to help. This Maxwell is one of 2 in the world, built from a collection of parts, almost HAMB like. The top assembly on that Maxwell was in a parts buyout I had two years ago, so there is a HAMB connection. :D

  7. I will be running the chase/support truck for Dorothy Grace, and Emma, a mother/daughter team from SE Michigan running the centennial tour. They leave NYC on June 9, and drive west til they see ocean. I get to do maintenance and repairs, and change flat tires on the 1911 Regal.
Emma is 10, and is a 10 year veteran of old car tours! What an adventure!

I wish her the best of luck! It's raining heavily as I type this, no windsheild, but the car does have a top, what a way to start that trip! Log onto the website and follow the trip to San Francisco.

  9. Cool story and another page in history to be written and we get to follow along as it takes place. HRP
