prolly would have been faster to ride a bike. they did a story on PBS about some guys who did it... what an adventure. they would break down or get stuck in the mud every other day

I hope the trip goes well, but if they have a problem a HAMB member will be close by to help. This Maxwell is one of 2 in the world, built from a collection of parts, almost HAMB like. The top assembly on that Maxwell was in a parts buyout I had two years ago, so there is a HAMB connection.
I will be running the chase/support truck for Dorothy Grace, and Emma, a mother/daughter team from SE Michigan running the centennial tour. They leave NYC on June 9, and drive west til they see ocean. I get to do maintenance and repairs, and change flat tires on the 1911 Regal. Emma is 10, and is a 10 year veteran of old car tours! What an adventure!
