0 degrees outside 55 degrees in the garage, making a little progress on the T

Finally got in the garage to get a little work done on the T.

took the body outside and sandblasted the existing structure along the bottom edges of the body so I could plug weld the rectangular tubing in place for the floor.

Now I have a structure to bolt to the frame.
Next up..... bracing in the trunk area and a place for the gas tank.

 

looks great brother. it's hard to get motavated in the winter time.

Im digging the frame. Is it all handmade, or what are the details? Dad and I are gonna be looking at building his in the near future

I was going to make my own frame, but for the price and quality I ended up buying this one from www.tperformance.com. That way I knew it had quality welds and is straight.

 

Keep going - we've got similar weather here - 2-3 hours out in the shed, 2-3 hours back in the house. But, progress is progress.

 

Nice progress.... Hard to work in the COLD. I'll be attacking my subframe tomorrow ( with the garage door open )
