The Jalopy Journal
Well, I tend to get into a bit of trouble from time to time. My friends started calling me hooligan because of it.:D I've been into old school hot...
Actually, they bought a lot of fastbacks for that movie. But they only needed one. It lasted threw all of the chase scene. It even hit a telephone...
Does anyone know if Roger Miret is going to be there again this year?
Thank you.
I'm still pretty new here. Is there a place here on the HAMB where I can look at the products the Alliance Vendors have to offer or do I go to...
Is there a website where we can get our hands on this?
I absolutely love Sandy Wachs' truck. I started a thread with a few pictures of mild custom truck, his is in there....
That thing is sweet!
Thank you. I'll have to swing by there and see if they're willing to help me out. It kind sucks not having a license though. That kind of...
Nice trucks. I really like the scallops on the '56. Nice and clean.
These are the only two vintage magazines I have... [IMG] [IMG] I love them to death. They're probably not that rare. But hey! You gotta start...
That thing is gorgeous. Wasn't there a tech. article on how they fabricated those tail lights? I think I remember seeing that somewhere. Also, is...
I'm probably going to take them to a machine shop and have them do the drilling. I have a drill press at work but I'd feel better with someone...

Does anybody have pictures of Sandy Wachs' custom '56 Ford Pick-up or other pickup done in the same late 1950's kustom style? I'm looking for...
That's what I was originally thinking. But I don't have a torch assembly at my disposal. All I really have is the oven in my parents kitchen. I...
One more picture. The yellow dots are where I had c-clamps positioned and the arrow points to the lug I was driving in from the back. [IMG]
Okay. So I ran into another problem. My brakes are a two piece design. I was able to get the gap on the back side of the drum from this... [IMG]...
I think my dad has one of those bars out in the shed. I'll have to give that a try.
I didn't lube anything. There aren't any knurls on the studs, the area that fits inside the whole in the drum is smooth.
I do have a vice. I did not think of using that. It's a tiny thing though. Alot smaller than your typical table vice.
I'm thinking I'm going to go the big flippin hammer route. I tried using a breaker bar earlier but the only think I had to hold the drum down was...
