Yowzers! looks great J.B., amazing effort!
Absolutely loving this build! Very inspirational. Keep working and posting pics.
Looking good! Very tidy.
Great build! I have a 21 stud as a spare, it came with the firing order on the heads, I believe these we're used in Ford Pilots into the 50's?
Do a search for 'Roadster Build' by 'Chris' should have all the info you need.
I would guess the same as above, don't look tall enough to be 7.50's IMO
I agree with above, $3K would buy you alot of 'spare' flathead rear ends.
Will find out I guess, the draglink is at a good angle (almost parallel) & the box is mounted slightly further back than the stock model A box...
looks great! nice profile.
Looks Great!
haha, that's my pup Henry Ford, he likes the camera, but not much of a guard dog.
I did the press method with my front spring. The eye to eye width is now a bit wide & the shackles are pointing pretty much straight down. Should...
Car looks absolutely incredible!!! I just went through the whole thread again, what suspension mods did you make? It sits perfect!
Hi Chrisman, the 42-48 rear ends are approx 1.5" wider than the earlier ones, only really a problem if you are running fenders.
Wow Archie31, that looks neat, I am quite partial to that look myself, here is mine: [IMG]
thanks Greg. Adam, your roadster looks great, have had some pics of it in my inspiration file for a while.
40's orforties, either way [IMG]
Yeah me to, although the top part looks pretty cool too! [IMG]
looks great! keep the updates coming.
thanks General, the trans crossmember is 40's pickup.
Not 32 frames but they both have 32 X members (& no 5 speeds, coilovers, disc brakes...) [IMG] [IMG]
great pics as always Jimmy
thanks Greg, recognise that front axle? I have an undrilled one I think I will use, but it has been great for mockup.
Here's mine, build thread in my signature: [IMG]
Hi Midroad, I will be doing my own headers with stainless flextube (see pics), stock exhaust manifolds don't fit with this setup. [IMG] [IMG]
will do Ollin...as soon as its finished haha.
yeah I like the look, I think it is correct for a 40's build, If you look through the old pics from that time there were tons of guys running...
