I know this is an old thread but I just have to say that you are ALL crazy if you think that 53 chevy cars didn't come out with 216's because mine...
I have a whole lot of room for the wheel to come closer to the fender. I am going to track down a stock wheel and tire setup to try on and see how...
ok here is a pic (one is of the front to show its just a regular ol 15'' steel wheel) of the 15'' wheel I put on it and it has 3 3/4 - 4'' back...
