The only problem I see is the camaro input shaft (I don't think it will interchange with the Mustang counter shaft), use the Mustang input shaft...
Ok, here ya go. I forgot I added about a 2" section of angle iron so it would fit. I also had to add a plate from cross member to trans mount so...
Give me a minute, I'll go take pics of mine. I made it out of 1 x 2 and it bolts in the original location.
Yep your correct, thats what early morning posting will get me, M5R2 is the correct, and M5OD-R1 is in the ranger, either way neither are T-5's
That is the M5R2 or the M0R2 totally different than the T-5. The T-5 was made by Borg-Warner or Tremmec depending on years.
Even the 2011 T-5 don't have an integral bellhousing, they all unbolt and they all use the same trans to bellhousing bolt pattern after 1993.
Ya they can delete the thread. I thought with all the questions I see about T-5 on how to rebuild them, and just questions in general I would...

We drove it over on Friday for its maiden voyage. Pulled down 22mpg @ 80 mph. Only had to tighten one brake line and adjust the kickdown cable...

Keep your 3.50's in overdrive they will act like a 2.73. You have the best of both worlds with a T-5
It pretty much "done" he's not gonna paint it or anything, just drive it. We have one other project we did in a weekend for another co-worker....
Yep, he's gonna keep the EFI. We've got it running, just need a drive shaft and he'll be driving the wheels off of it.
Took some time off from my 64 Fairlane wagon build to help a buddy work on his 60 Edsel Ranger. Here's how it started out. <center>...

I'd love to take the wagon but its not done yet. I'll be there again this year to watch though.
Those are on my buddys property, lucky ya didn't get shot.
T5s sold in "later" Mustangs were tilted, earlier ones were not. I've rebuilt over 100 of these things and have my hands in them on a daily...
I'd just take the shifter off the trans, heat it up right below the bolt holes for the shifter handle and bend it 7* the other way, problem...
