The Jalopy Journal
Thanks for the update. Your site is in "My favorites". The Decker Crocker is unbelievable, and I hope to see it in person some day.
Great idea! Love every bike on there. What happened to RF's panhead (my favorite)? Didn't I see it on your site?
I'm running a '78 Camaro clip with 14" smoothies...no caliper clearance problems. Can't say if there is a difference between Camaro and Firebird.
Your buddy has a good eye for some great bikes. Who's building the Gibbon's panhead?
Thanks for sharing pics and story. Let John know there is a large group of people (HAMB) that really appreciate his talent and craftsmanship as...
Keep pluggin' along, you'll get it. I remember when it got to putting in the brakes on my '53, I thought " now what could go wrong with this? "...

What a beautiful bike! Great job!
Nice seat. As for the purists, I know what you mean. I did a "bob job" on a stock '57 pan and took alot of crap from my purist friends. Screw 'em,...
Sorry...been there. What about the show around Labor Day? Not as big, but never a disappointment. Easier to get a room too.
Of all the stolen bikes I've heard of, only two were recovered. Not good odds. One was found by going around to the local biker bars and putting...

I like the first pic, Elvis at the wheel. I see the shovel, but where's '56? Still got it?
Boones, That looks great! I never thought to do it that way. Since my fuel guage still doesn't work, I just went with three gauges. I may try that...
Why didn't I think of that? Thanks! First name Albert?
I meant west Texas.
I recall driving past a town named Bakersfield in east Texas. It didn't smell, but it didn't have a dragstrip either. Cali Bako rules! HA!
My wife said I can go Sat. Are ya gonna have a sign or something to ID yourselves as HAMBers? A banner, sticker, tattoo....?
Jay, Thanks for cool pics. The 50 coupe pic shows the word "raceway" over the hood, but I don't recognize where it is. Just curious. The flood you...
I aggree, it's sickening...and who would pay that for a used one, when you could buy a zero miles bike for the same price? I have to ask why you...
You didn't fool me, that's fatboy stuff. I like your seat choice better than that big ass buddy seat. Is that o.d. green showing through the red?...
Lotus, you'd better bring that by as soon as ya get it goin'. It's really come a long way!
Lotus! Emailed you a couple of weeks ago. No answer. Been by a lotta times but no activity, so I keep goin'. I know ya work nights, or used to....

Truth or fiction, what a great story! I've had that same train almost take me out, probably not far from where you write about. Worked at the gas...
That's really tucked up in there...the only way to go. Did you lower the fender in the struts too? ...and the Indian, well what can ya say? Can I...
