  1. You ever park that thing behind the library at Pitt State? There's one here occasionally and I always think about the potential it has.

    thanks,
these were meant for the A,
but I had to see what they would look like on the T

yes all American Racing Torq Thrust
fronts were 7x15 narrowed to 5-1/2x15 aluminum with Coker ribbed Firestones
rears are 10x15 magnesium with four groove Radirs

I haven't made up my mind if I will keep them on there or not,
if I do, it will require a horsepower transplant
    and a stronger rearend

one of three possible power combos
big early Olds and slant pan
sbc with little blower and four speed
    or bbc and auto

Narrowed! Ok, that explains it... I had never seen TT's that narrow, with that deep of a front. I love that style, where the spokes lean down into the center. They seem to be hard to find. I really dig those wide ones in the Slicks thread, those are my all time favorite wheels. To me, they look true mid-late 60's, I can really see that car in a bright flake, black interior, and the small blower SBC...

  7. Our rides don't quite measure up, but nevertheless:

Current project: previously owned by the same family for the past 41 years, basically solid car but badly in need of the Y-block rebuild.

Its great to look at these threads. It gets me motivated to get my honeydos done so I can get back into the garage.

    Here's my "38 Plymouth.

  28. Here are my two projects. The '67 Triumph is my dads. Hopefully we're going to repaint it over the winter. This pic is 22 years old, so she don't look this nice right now. The other one is my '66 valiant with a 360 and a four speed. Might not be to traditional, but is a blast to drive.

I don't have a hot rod yet, I'm working on it, I'm going to go look at a '52 Ford Mainline after xmas. But I do have some parts I've been collecting. Yes that is a Merc head, but after taking the engine all apart, turned out to be a Ford, bummer. I got a couple other things like a full size traffic light with giant 12" lenses and 3 fire hydrants and man hole covers to weld onto the fire hydrants to make tables someday. Also have tons of weird metal parts I've been collecting for years, neat stuff to weld together.
