I'm going to Navarro's show Saturday. The H-Bomb's want to head out at 12 noon. I'd rather get there before noon. I'm tossing between taking I45 or HWY6. 45 is quicker, but 6 is safer. :D If anyone is leaving before 12, let me know and maybe we can meet up on the way down.

Sam's show is great, I love the area, grew up in Texas city. The street in front of the showboat fills up quick though, I'd get their early.

The show doesn't start till 11. Wouldn't 9ish be better? Got the time wrong. 8 would be cool. Literally.

I was wrong. Show starts at 10. An 8 o'clock breakfast could work.

Looks like is a ride to Sam's, on Saturday, but breakfast comes first. There's a Kelly's Country kitchen on 35 just north of hwy6, I'll call and make sure that it's open. I'll post more later.

Kelly's Country Kitchen is open, Hwy 35 just north of hwy 6, we'll be there for breakfast, 8: AM and then heading out to Texas City for Sam's show. So if your heading out to Sam's, us southwest side Hamber's can meet there and cruse from Kelly's.

I got your PM. I'll meet you at The Shell station at 288 & HWy6. name a time. Then, we can hook up with Nailheadroadster. He's just a little further down HWY6 near the high school.

I'll send Nailhead a PM, if he doesn't click in here before Friday. Shit..... Looks like we got ourselves a convoy. Insert "Bandit" DVD.

I'm in! The cool morning air is glorious for fuel consumption. I spent a good two hours doing a little cleaning. She's purring like a kitten and ready to go.

Anyone's welcome, meet at the shell station about 8 AM. Nailhead, I've seen the
Buick-way col, can't wait to see your roaster, see you at the high school. This is going to be fun. If we don't see you at the shell, hope to see you at Kelly's or Sam's car show.

I almost went for a ride today, but I held off. I'm not risking ANYTHING happening to cause me missing this. See you guys tomorrow morning.

There are a handfull of people (mostly from the neighborhood) meeting up at Boulevard Coffee in the Heights (on Heights BLVD) Sunday morning around 9:30AM. Not HAMB only, but if you live nearby come check it out.

Do they do this every Sunday? Someone invited me to the Heights for something like this, but I couldn't make it. What's the address?

this is our first time doing it. (I think we will make it a last Sunday of the month regular thing going forward). We are trying this location out, as there should be adequate parking for us line the Boulevard. We might try a different location next month.

Then, that's not the one I'm thinking of. HOWEVER, it's still a reason for me to go riding. Like I need one. I'll try to make my way over there.

Thanks to everyone, who showed up. It turned out to be a fantastic drive and show. If you guys ever get a chance to take a tour of Dave's garage, don't decline. He's doing some MONSTORUS things in there!:D

HWY 6 isn't the quickest way to Texas City & Galveston, but it's the most scenic and relaxing. Lot's of old iron and antique shops. I'll NEVER take I 45 again.
