I haven't posted in a while and recently got a new project in the garage so I thought I would share in hopes maybe someone recognizes the car. It would be nice to know the history. Doesnt make a difference either way as I plan to do it how I would of built a AA/FA in the mid 60s. I plan on burning Nitro for cackling and hope to be able to do some burnouts. I brought it home last weekend and have just stared at it a lot to get ideas. This should be fun!<O</O
Short wheelbase plus a Hemi and the horsepower to weight ratio make for one wild and fast ride. The AA/FA cars always put on the best show in drag racing!!!!!!!!!!! Jimbo
Looks to be a fresh build, old cars with history usually dont look that good-- build it the way you want and have fun
Hard to say what it was once, front of the chassis looks old but the double hoop roll bar looks newer, some rare parts, especially the Crower injector...can you tell more about it?
Thanks guys! I would guess the cage was added later. The paint was done about 10 years ago. It was Green with gold writing on the cowl before it was painted. That is all the info I got.
IHRA has a great AA/FA race program. Have a question for you. With car on level ground what's the angle of the motor ? We used to build them 1 to 2 degrees down.
