Thanks guys I was wondering what this grill may be from. Its pretty rough, it always been wall art but have always wondered what it is from. Thanks Dan
The Antique Automobile Club of America has a "what is it" section in the photo and video forum. Post a picture of your grill there and someone will know what it is. I use it all the time when I can't I.D. an old car part, odd gauge or when I find a photo of some long gone make of car that I pick up at one of the local old car swap meets.
I don't believe it is a Studebaker truck grill from that era 1936 Studebaker Coke truck: 1941 -48 Studebaker truck looks like this:
From my research I thought 31 Chrysler also. There is nothing else even close that I have found and it has the right number of fins etc. Thanks it confirms my research.
Hadn't given it much thought about selling it. Its always just been a conversation piece hanging in my garage. I guess to a guy that was redoing one it would have enough value I would.
You could sell it to 31Dodger and tape the money to the wall like they do in dinners. That would still be a conversation starter. Bob Bob
I was mainly interested in knowing if it is for sale in order to tell any of my buddies who are looking for one. I know a lot of Chrysler product collectors/restorers/rodders.
