I found this picture on the Street Rodder website here: http://www.streetrodderweb.com/features/0910sr_1939_ford_bonneville/photo_07.html Anyone know what kind of breaks they are? They list them as disc breaks, looks like they were at a swap meet. Never seen anything like them.
I was looking for a SBC and answered an ad for a Model A chassis with one . It had a set of those ugly brakes on it. I sure was not going to give $100 for the whole thing with those goofy things on it!
I'd rather have a cool old car with normal brakes and another cool old car parked next to it. you can get a nice car for $10,000.00
Newbies check this out I bought a 1927 ford roadster with a 327-4 speed & Kinmonts on it in 1972 for $1000 & Traded it for an all steel 32-3 Window coupe minus eng & trans but with a Corvair front & Vette rear and as they say THE REST IS HISTORY
Maybe 'cause we don't want the rest of the internet world to think the HAMB is full of a bunch of people that can't spell. There is enough of that out there......
