Just came in from putting mine together and watched your video. Congratulations, Walter..It sounds and looks fantastic. That is what a Flathead is supposed to sound like.

That was a fantastic moment to capture on film. You have nailed the looks and it is clear this is a very detailed build. It's going to be an awesome Hot Rod when its finished. Thanks for sharing

Time to get serious and mount the body. You think your having fun now wait until you pull in the driveway after your first 25 mile run. If you don't immediately put it in reverse and head back out for "just a few more miles" I'll be mighty surprised.
When I got my first av8 done my dad came out and pulled the keys about the 4 or 5th time I pulled in the driveway as it was getting dark and he said mom told him make me put it away for the night before I got stranded on some back road in the dark and no way to get home. 16 years old and no cell phones in 1959.:D

You Guys Rock!! I had my wife watch the video with me the second time around. She needs to know what all those nights in the barn are about. We both agreed that it must be nice to have Eric Clapton come over and help out on the start-up.
If you have time, I would like to ask just what fan set up you are using. I'm doing much the same build with a '32 five window, have the dual pulley on the crank but, need to source a mechanical fan to line up with the front groove. Great video. I had a fun time watching the two of you having a great time.

I used 46 ford heavy truck fan generator and crank pully with Speedway pumps. You guys shure know how to make an old guy feel good. I wasn't certian if I would ever get this far. I will try to post more pictures. This car would never happen with out the H.A.M.B. and the Ford Barn
    Thanks Guys
