thanks thanks and thanks! hey, I follow you too! just rams horn exhaust manifolds and straight pipes about half way back. thanks, if I still have it next winter I plan on painting it.i didn't want to rush it cuz I want to real straight because the only color for me for it is black,.. , I worked all winter on it, to get it to this point and wanted to enjoy it. ( I have it listed in the classifieds for a lil bit, because a 55 nomad I was trying to by right before I bought the roadster ,the guy backed out,so I bought the roadster,,now he wants to sell it again, so I listed the roadster,,but he's already getting cold feet so I may just take the ad down,, I love the hell outta driving it.but have been trying to buy that 55 nomad for several years!)
hey thanks!!! I try! The cars i do may not be 100% period show car perfect,,but I always try to get the look right!!! thanks! thanks! Really apreciate that !! that's the look I was going for!!! thanks! not yet,,seems like everytime i want to its either cold rainy or a day i have to carpool and drop everybody off,,although the past 3 days have been perfect!!! maybe next week (for those that don't know the-rodster and myself make the same dreaded 80 mile round trip work comute during the week)
I like your explanation of the exhaust. I've always been a fan of 2 1/2" rams horns and about 5' of unmuffled exhaust. Another good combination is 2 1/2" manifolds through the original Z-28 chambered exhaust that came on '69 Z-28's. Also hard to beat the sound of the '64-'67 Corvette outside exhaust. Frank
