Features '32 5 window found in georgia

While looking at one car, a new found hamb friend mentioned his dad's car...been sitting a while, owned for last 10 or so years...i think he told me he was 3rd owner..have pictures of it headed to la roadster show, bonneville and somewhere else....anyway we got to talking yesterday about his dad wanting a roadster...next thing you know, 750 round trip miles later, there is a happy 80 year old man in georgia riding in a roadster and my shop now has a real '32 5 window to sit by my tupperware one.............god blesses in mysterious ways........now if i coupld only find me a dearborne deuce with ac to drive to la roadster show.........guess i'll have to park outside and take the tupperware coupe...............here's a few pictures of the new toy.

350/2 barrel with 350 trans/9" ford rearend......told me it had less than 50 miles on it...you can still smell fresh paint on the engine

Great story made yourself and an old timer happy. Glad the old timer got what he wants before this sat and became Grandpa's old car that nobody wants.

They are still out there!! A friend found a nice one this past Christmas, nobody knew about. Old man owned it, running fine.

You don't need A/C. My 1st 32 I put air in it. The two I have now I open the cowl vent, windshield and, roll down back window. Breeze comes thru with side windows up. Papers on the floor levitate from the breeze. Drove it to Louisville a few times, ok.

glad to see you made it home, dad is still trying to dry the roadster out, he said he was going to put a 4-peace hood and fenders on it. me and mom told him not to do anything to it. to only work on his other one. he has a barn load of 32 stuff big hoods frames grills and stuff. I just help him when I can.

 

I've known Barry & his dad for several years and have seen the car many time,you hit a home run on that sweet 5 window! HRP

I hate the Roadster got dirty and wet...that was 2 awful rain storms we went through.......it was raining sideways at times.....Let him play with it anyway he wants too....Loved your Dads home place.....I COULD LIVE THERE...HIDDEN FROM THE WORLD...WORKING ON HOT RODS........Was I right...your Dad is 80 or did I dream that....Ronnie (BLACK '32 FROM JOHNSONS) came over first thing to see it.....he's got a friend named Chris that lives 20 miles from you in Riva Roco or something like that.....I adjusted the valves and tinkered with the carb, points and timing this evening and got it purring...put about 20 miles on it this evening......keep in touch Barry........and my brother was talking about your mother being so nice and all her antiques.......later
