About to begin work on a 63 falcon... It is currently set up for a 390 ford, but has no motor or tranny right now. Wanna go with a manual. Any suggestions?

The traditional choices would be the Borg Warner T-10 4 speed or Ford Toploader 4 speed. The Toploader being the stronger one.

They are still out there for the FE engine. You will need to decide what transmission bolt pattern you are going to use.

Looks like you can get them all day long for about $150 on ebay, but you might find one local for less.

Beefed up T5. Nothing beats having an overdrive gear.

Bet that took some serious ax work to put an FE in there. They wouldn't even fit in a 63 Fairlane

It has a mustang 2 front suspension which eliminated the shock towers. Im gonna have to do some serious sheet metal work to it. Currently it looks all hacked up.
