So ive been holding out on posting about my 34 ford 5 window coupe for a bit dunno why but i have. Me and Marcy bought this car last summer but i ended up trading her out of it so its all mine.

Im not really sure on the history of it, when we bought the car it was near madison Wi and im pretty sure its been in that area for a while.

So ill want punch many more keys, ill let the photos do the talking guess.

heres a few more pics, i yanked out the crudely installed 289 and top loader 4 speed, start fixing on the frame up front, ditched the 40 ford crossmember and crappy front suspension, reinstalled a stock front crossmember, dago 33-36 axle, unsplit 40 bones etc etc.

then proceeded to installed a 331 chrysler hemi topped with an edmunds 2x2 intake and i have matching finned edmunds valve covers, it is backed buy a lasalled top shift trans with a offy adpator between the two.

Quite the transformation! It is coming along really nice.

  10. That's way cool, hopefully you can find some history to it.
It looks like the original workmanship of the metal work
    wasn't terrible.

  11. Nice progress!

Did you put in a stock firewall? Seems to look like it from the pictures. If so, I'm glad you did. I need to swing out again and take a look sometime, if thats alright...

  18. This is exactly what I thought when I opened up this thread. Glad to see the old girl didn't get left to rot away or worse turn into another form of rod. The Hemi is makes it so much better!

That coupe was for sale for awhile if I remember correctly, so a lot of guys must have passed on it. But you had the vision to see what it could be, and now you are bringing it back to life. You are doing everything right here, and the coupe is looking awesome!
