It's a 10.1D spec. AA/FC chassis kit also known as a funny car(Toppolino Altered) in a box. For the Outlaw Altered thingy. Speaking of coupes though, have ya ever got any copper in yours yet?
It's a little tricky cause the word "meat" isn't used in Sweedish. They say "flesh". But would be written as "Vlees bal Swedish". Might be a little long for a car name, prob better off said in English.
That is the coolest PV I have seen in a long time..!!! It´s "Köttbulle" But here vi sometimes call it "kutrygg" = Hunchback Here we have the fastest PV in Sweden (or maby the worlds fastest) http://www.hunchbackracing.se/fakta.html The body is made of carbon fiber.
Larry,it's about damn time.LOL Chev 55,That's some wild bullet in that hot rod. What kind of #'s does it run? Oh and is "Kottbulle" meatball or Hunchback? Kustombuilder, how am I gonna make 'em scratch their heads speaking english?
I dig that thing a LOT!!! I was thinking of "The Volvarian"... But swedish meatball has a damn nice ring to it.. -Mike
I'm diggin it a lot. We have a guy who's a member of my old club the Greazies.....he built one of these. It kicks ass. I like that style of body. I'm in agreement on the "Swedish Meatball" name. I think it's cool.....or maybe drop the Swedish and just go with "Meatball". "Meatball" has a nice party animal/animal house name to it I think. Cool stuff indeed. I agree with Jeem too on his suggestions.
1/4 mile: ET 7,76 / 275 km/h Köttbulle (you prounance that as "Shoetbulle") = Meatball Kutrygg = Hunchback PM: me if you have more questions!
Now,This just isn't right. If your going to discard it just call me and I will take care of it for ya. Vulva is looking good, they always do.
"Svensk or Svenskt" its a grammarthing, depends on the word after it... Translation site: http://www-lexikon.nada.kth.se/skolverket/swe-eng.shtml
That thing is kool man! I love gasser stuff. Are you gonna have white walls on the car when it's finished? I thought that was always a good aditive on the old gassers from the 60's, stone woods and cook had one with white wall fronts .
Chevy55,Thanx for the grammar lesson and DAMN that thing is fast, but I'd be terrified to ask how much it costs to go that fast with a 4 banger.LOL Ted you should know better,it's not discarded it has just changed form temporarily from a hot rod to a quasi mobile storage facility.LOL It's done that trick before many times. Kustombuilder,I've always been cute but hardly ever clever as evidenced by my car(s). Dutch yes the wide whites are there to stay at least until I start bustin a yard fifty with it then I'm afraid they'll have to go in favor of sumthin' safer. But til then at the present time they've been tested tuff to 138 on a lot of ocassions sometimes for 15-20 miles. Just by the by it's gettin' hard to find somewhere to strech your legs that fast that long in this country. I think we need an autobahnx6 one north and south. One east and west and 2 to slit the diff. with unlimited left lane speed. Can I get a "AMEN"? Well it looks like the Swedish Meatballs have it at the present time.LOL Chevy55 How do you spell "Swedish Meatball" in Swedish? Ain't the power of the HAMB grand?
Hey Woodard, is that Willys ready yet? Sam,I couldn't possibly ditch the www's until I out run 'em One I like 'em two.I own 'em and three front runners just cost too damn much on a low budget theme. BTW are you cumin' to the HAMB Drags next summer? Hey Mike thanx.Glad you like it. I'm kinda surprised I didn't see you at Ardmore last month.
I'm gonna revive this thread because I've started noticing more and more of these things popping up. Maybe it's because all the other small-bodied gasser/altered fodder has been drying up or astronomically expensive, i.e.-Bantam, Topolino, Austin, Morris, Henry J, etc? Whatever the reason, I'm diggin' it, and I'd like to see more!
Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead. My Dad gave me his old high school car from the early 70s which is a 1957 volvo pv444 that him and my grandfather converted to a SBF 302 back in the day. I had the idea of making it into a gasser today and google led me here. Ive lurked on this site before mostly to study up on diy tools and mods to HF bead rollers and the like but had to register to post pics of my car! This is a picture from im guessing 1972 when my dad was hotrodding around the bayarea in his younger days. Car has been under a tarp since the early 80s now it sits in his side yard. No blower just a highrise and 4bbl not running. Enjoy
