Garage find

Last weekend I was asked to clean out the garage for an elderly woman. She said there was a car parts left there by her husband and she just wanted everything gone. Well she wasn't kidding. Four Pontiac tri powers, a Muncie 4 speed, 70 carburetors, and a lot more.
It was a fun day!!

WOW! Nice find, even COOLER your helping the old girl out! Do you have any date codes figured out on them? I have a Pontiac buddy that may very interested in some of those parts.

 

She really needs the money,so it's the least I could do. But let me tell you this it was quite overwhelming as I kept pulling out part after part after part!!! She still has two more storage lockers for me to go through

I think what you are doing is one class act! Good on you!

 

One Tri power is a 57-58, two are 65, and the last is 66. I have more than enough carburetors for each one I have a full box of linkage, I have brand new carburetor rebuild kits, I have a brand new air cleaners for each one, and fuel lines already pre bent and ready to go packaged up in plastic bags.

Did she want you to sell it for her, or really just want all of it "gone" for the sake of cleaning out the garage? Just wondering. If she had all these parts you didn't know about she may have a bunch of money you don't know about.

i could use a set of tri-power carbs and linkage for my 60 cadillac tri-power manifold. probably work on that just fine.

You could sell everything and make a bucketful of money for yourself and chuckling inside over how you slipped one past her and no one would be the wiser.

What you are doing I consider the Biblical definition of Grace, and I am in awe of your integrity and the Grace that you are giving to this woman.
