    If you walk super slow......

I got there at 10am on Friday and walked it 2X by 6:30pm. Didn't find much in parts for building a period car this year, slim pickins.. pre 1940 parts are drying up.

That's cause my buddies beat you to the parts, they scored, heavy dago dropped axle, two sets of 16 inch wheels,40 brakes, 20 backing plates, 3 pairs of wish bones, another friend miss out on a nice 50 shoe box that still had the original paint for 500 bucks, another friend bought a nice running 47 coupe for cheap, may be you were walking too fast. Ya , there is not as many bodies for sale as they used to be , but thats the case every where . their was also a lot of cool parts for traditional customs

I bought a leaf blower. Somebody had a party on my tailgate out in the parking lot, and set their drink on my hood. WTF is wrong with people?

I found this survivor '64 Dodge Polara 500. Original, rust free California car with a 440. Runs like a raped ape! Current tags, daily driver. Cruised the swap meet all night Saturday loaded with people.

  7. Seemed like there were am awful lot of people that broke down on the 8 on the way home Sun. Hope everyone got home Ok. Felt bad I couldn't stop to see if I could help, but I was following a buddy in a unknown vehicle home myself.

    Pickins seemed slim this year.

    $2 flathead fan
    $3 Model A easy-steer kit
    $15 aluminum column drop

  10. Picked up a set of 10 (8 "VERY" slighty used, with 2 new extras) Ross blower pistons for $50.00. Don't think you can buy 1 new one for that.

I was there Saturday. It's been over 5 years since I last went. There was not as many cars as there use to be there. It was sold out. There were more vintage trailers this year than I remember seeing before. The black dog with the dreds was mine, it was the most popular thing in the whole swap meet. :D
