Trying to decide what valve covers to run on my 390 Caddy motor. Always liked the Hildebrant finned covers but there is a another vintage styled finned valve covers made by PML. Does anybody know of another style?
If Im not mistaking people were having a problem with the new hildebrant covers. they dont clear adjustable rocker arms if you have them. Do a search. I have a old set of edelbrock covers on mine.
When mfrs indicate their Caddy valve covers do not clear adjustable rockers - do they mean Studebaker rockers or is there an aftermarket design that doesn't clear? Or both? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I have offy's on mine, but I'd like to find an old set of edelbrock's to match the 3 x 2, but I"m wierd like that.
Where can I find a set of "Cadillac" script valve covers as pictured above that will fit a Cad 500? I can't stand the plain jane chrome covers I have on my 500 currently.
@billsat - cad500.com here- http://www.cad500parts.com/catalog/page25.htm is a link to their Valve Covers. In addition to 472/500 motors, they have covers for 331/365/390, too Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
