Features Batmobile before Barris'?

    Here's a story that I worked on for quite a while shooting the progress as it went. I thought I'd share it with my fellow HAMBers.

    It toured the east coast promoting a Batrman and Robin ice cream for a dairy company. It was apparently built before the Barris Batmobile. This car's debut is at the Sacramento Autorama this weekend. Check it out!

    well, i've never seen that before. it sure has a "worried" look to the grill though.

    Interesting Custom. Certainly a ton of work . Here is a picture of it back in 1964 when it was for sale. Wonder who the original builder was/is?

    What is it built off of? Noticed it had doors like a Darrin...

    Glad you guys like it. The pics that you see were all we could get our hands on. I'd also like to see more.
    We had something set up with one of the original builders but we ran out of time. I believe he might live somewhere in the SF bay area. It had to finished before the Autorama debut so we had to do without.
