I am in the process of sheet metal fitting on my 1950 ford F-1, I have a 1953 bed. I need the space measurements between the cab and bed from the top and sides. Any help would be thankful. BTW I have the dimensions print out but it lacks that measurement.

  2. ...on my 48 there's about 3/4 - 1 " space between front bed panel and cab at center of bed.

I am 3/4 at the top and 2 and 1/4 inches on both sides. These truck fronts get so banged up from stuff wacking the inside of the bed into the cab. it is had to tell if i am straight or not. Just don't want everything to be off... thanks Rusty
