Travis , I missed you . Thanks for posting . What did you think of the 41 Dodge COE mobile Cowboy bar ?
anybody have any pics of the 54 chevy they were supposed to be chopping this weekend? i wasn't able to make it down.
I would have loved to have gone to this one! Those are good photos, and some neat cars. Thanks for taking the time to put them on here. It's nice to see some fresh cars that I haven't seen before. Would you happen to have any more shots of either of these?
THANK YOU, TRAVIS!!! I was unable to be there this year, so am so happy you posted some photos! Duncan
Does this always fall on the same dates as Kansas City world of wheels or did it just happen to be on the same dates this year. It looks like it`s worth the extra 3(?) hour drive. Been wanting to go for years.
Great pics Travis! Glad I got to see you guys! Who won the Go For The Gold? Surely not that turbine thing….say it was the paneled 34…..
did not go this year, wish i had seen the bubble tops but the wife wanted to celebrate our anniversary for some reason, and a car show was'nt it ! looks like fun
Travis, thanks for.the pics. Wish I could've been there. I know if you're at a show, you have a camera with you. Hope to see you in May if not before.
The 57 truck. Wasn't my favorite, but a ton of work. http://www.truckinweb.com/webonly/1...ik_silver_2013_great_8_ridler_award_finalist/
Whew! At least the turbine thing didn't win…no matter how much work that was. I liked that truck, though. Not HAMB friendly, but nice looking just the same. I was rooting for the '34 though. That was sweet and I was thrilled to get to see it in person.
I agree 100% with what you said drdave. I'm a truck guy but that 34 was the one my brother and I thought would win, it was very impressive the attention to detail. This years starbird show was the best one in at least the last five years.
I'm surprised, knowing that Starbird is an old school show car builder my father and I thought the '34 was the winner hands down. We figured it was between those two nonetheless.
Saw that truck in Texas at the GoodGuy's show...the work was unreal...and gbrown is correct, I'm surprised it won...but then again, I don't think Darrell has much to do with the judging does he...??? R-
