Early small block Chevy mechanical fuel injection. Do not sell it until you get a legitimate value on it. Some are worth more than others.
look it over very carefully to find all numbers or names that are made in the casting , like gimpy said some are more valuable than others . and be very carefull around the bells and stacks as they bend and ding easily and that will lower the value quickly . and do not clean it up either ..
oh its not for sale if nothing else it will hang on the wall just because it was my gpas was just trying to figure out what it was who would be the person to talk to
I cannot make out the lettering on the casting on the risers. What does that say? It looks like SCOTT.
Wild. I did some Googling, and came up with http://www.scottfuelinjection.com/biography/ ? Looks to be about the period, I've never heard of one. With the breather in the intake, its definitely old, and super cool.
That is a gas guzzlin', air polutin' non-compliant piece of automotive paraphernalia. If it hasn't been outlawed in Kansas, it's just a matter of time. Better send it to me for proper disposal. Your Gramps would have wanted it that way. Seriously, that is one of the coolest things I've ever seen 'found'. Use it or display it, but don't EVER let it go!
thankyou for the help if anything will use it ive always wanted to build a period correct FED .... I can see another project in my future
