Stolen Green 1951 Chevrolet Tin-woody, Newport Beach California

My precious daily driver got stolen today in newport beach! It has registration number 3UZF934. It is dark green and is easy to recognize.

Circumstances? Crime of opportunity or were you stalked? At the beach or somewhere they knew old cars would be? Would give an idea as to who might have pinched it.

 

Thank you all for the support!! It really means a lot to me! It was stolen at Brad Masterson's pad in Newport. It has not been towed, and was stolen on saturday. I'm not sure about what time it was.

 

I will be out and about today and will be keeping my eye's open for sure,

Condolences to the OP. I'll relate what I'm thinking which is that unless it was a "joy ride" - unlikely. The car is torn down and being parted or repainted for sale overseas. And that REALLY sucks.


I'm relating to this on a MUCH smaller scale because thieves recently stole the 50amp extension cord and adapters I had on my fifth wheel trailer while parked right in front of my house. Cost me $415!!!! to replace Friday.

 

I hope you find your wagon man. Thieves are much more brazen these days. There's a device called Spot and it tracks your car,motorcycle, boat, etc......movement for one hundred dollars a year. It keeps track of your property in real time and informs you exactly where it is thru email or text.
I plan on getting one once my truck is finish. I think it's worth the 100 dollar a year fee.
