difference between nailhead 322 and 364 ore 401

    How moutch schall i do to get a 364 om a 56 dynaflow 322 orgiginal engiene)

  3. 57-66 engines are a different bellhousing bolt pattern from 1956 and older. Doesn't work.

    You'd be best to get a 1964 to 1966 401 with the St400 transmission. Put them in as a unit and convert to an open style driveshaft. Converting to open driveshaft usually means a different rear end. The ST400 is much stronger/smoother than the dynaflow and it gets much better gas mileage. If the ST400 needs a rebuild, you can easily get parts since it is internally the same as a TH400.
