I'm trying to find original stuff first because I got time to wait but sooner or later I'll have to give in an make it all. I would love to see some pic of the rear window bucket too if anybody has them.

  6. I'm going over to my buddy's body shop in about 1/2 hour. I can get some photos of another customer's original 34 five window with it's original hinges, mounts and rain tray.
Mine is kinda a morphadite with shop-made hinge mounts and a '36 back glass five window regulator [and regulator bracket] and a completely shop-made rain tray...loosly copied from original 34 coupe parts.
The 34 back glass regulator "bracket" was made from wood....36s' were made from steel.

The deck lid hinge brackets that are on body near rain gutter are available from Tom Bay.
    I just ordered a set.
My 5 window is suffering from same hinge bracket problem.
Tom said a lot of the brackets were easily broken.

Holy crap Man!! I didn't know that you were redoing your roadster!!! You HAVE to do a thread on this since there wasn't one for the first time you built it!!!! I love that color and if I ever painted my rusty ass roadster, i would go with something similar. Mine used to be some shade of blue! Looks good, Bro!!!

    Jared,

I just went back and read your entire build thread for motovation for my New 3 window build. You have Come along way with this car, I remember seeing it in brians Movie, And thinking How cool it was. I was wondering Who you had to shoot to score Doors that look like these?.....(wheres the rest of that body?.....LOL) the last pic is a set of 33 doors I found, but the guy wants big money for them. Funny how much stuff is still out there

No shots were fired! Those door hurt real real bad to get, but I did it anyways. I hope your's don't hurt as much. but at the end of it all, awesome doors can take the car to a higher level of finish.
Unless your going to chop the top, both doors from the same car are a real big deal. All the 3 window doors are a little diffrent in size or shape and when it comes to adjust them it will really matter. Also think of all the time and hasel saved when you don't have to pice them together. Their is so much more going on with a door. I say go for it if you can. It's not some dum tv that will be throw away in 5 years.
