Hello. While doing Google searches for research material on a project I'm working on, the H.A.M.B. forum comes up so often that I figured I should join. I'll mostly be lurking, and now and then posting in Friday art shows. I'm mostly here to learn about what makes the street rodder tick, and what better place is there? As a kid I grew up with the hot rod Hot Wheels and plastic model kits of Dave Deal, Ed Roth and Tom Daniel. I think it's just something that stays with you for a lifetime. I'm not quite a rodder yet, but I did used to stretch luxury cars in the mid-'80s and did a few van conversions as well, so I have a wee bit of customizing background. There may be some hope for me in the future. Thanks for reading!
A good intro and a good attitude. That is sometimes lacking here. You should read and understand the rules and then try to be productive. You will benefit greatly by helping where you can. Welcome to the HAMB.
Welcome from Westville, if you think Dave Deal, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, and Tom Daniel did cool stuff as a kid, I think deep down you already know what makes a Hot rodder tick.
