I am going to look at an all original 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe sedan tomorrow and was wondering if anyone could tell me anything in paticular to look for while I am checking it out. Typical rust areas or problems areas I should be aware of. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks

Can't speak about rust, but make sure that all of the brake drums are there. They are getting scarce. Lug bolts are LH and RH, as marked, so be aware, when inspecting.

  3. As far as rust, anything below the door handles!!!

Floor pan, trunk floor, just below the taillights, the door bottoms, the inner and outer rockers, just behind the front wheel on the fender and in the cowl, and the floor braces under the floor.

    That should get you started

  4. Strait-edge got it they all rot under the taillights . Their is a body mount on the trunk floor they all rot out there.
