Just saw this post. That car looks great. Sure glad i don't have any friends. I'd have to keep that thing clean and park at the far end of Wal_Mart.

Wow...not only did he give the car more monetary value, but so much more meaning too!

Thanks for sharing with us what your good friend so graciously shared with you.

Very nice work! Will we see your Model A on the road this year? I have a convertible that will need painting soon, so good to know there are guys with real talent around this town.

That thing is screaming for a white frame, just my humble opinion. Black will look good, but white will make it pop.

Now he's done it. You gotta step up the build to the quality of the paint job. But that's the thing with building cars. "never done." Good friends are hard to find. Good friend that's a painter, priceless.

Exactly right Slobroy, I have the same problem with my coupe. Great problem to have though. One of my best friends is also one of the best painters I have ever seen.

Mother of God. That's the coolest thing I think I've ever seen on something like this. Perfect eye for line & color, how you get all of those elements on one body THAT tastefully... this guy's the real deal. There should be a line around his block. If left nuts were a legitimate currency, he'd have a truckload of them.

here is the car sometime in the first month I owned it. still on a stock chassis, you can see the amount of channel pretty well.

75% of bodywork was done by me, first time doing such a thing. the 2 door conversion was roughed in by me, smoothed out by the painter.

  28. A paint job is only as good as its preparation. So you deserve credit also for having done a good job on the body work.

COOL! The Color Combination / Layout is nicer than the "Iron Orchid" Ridler contender...
