I have a 2.5 inch tube size on a small block chevy hilborn set up. Wondering if any one has pics of there set ups and what distributers you are running.

    Thanks

Just read that Stu Hilborn died today at 93 years old. A real pioneer!

On gas for the street any type of quality ignition is fine. The look of the converted vertex is nice but a lot of posts on here about issues with them.

  7. Actually he died on Dec. 16th and he was 96 years old. I was at Hilborn's just this morning having my injector set up. I got to see the archive room where they have info on about every injector they sold. They found some missing information on mine for me

  8. For a street car, I would run an early Stock distributor with a PerTronix to keep it looking period correct but with the better speak of electronics.

Thank you for the suggestions everyone!

I like the sound of this. I was worried that an older stock distributer would not fit and I don't have one handy to try. Price wise also because I really don't need the features of the pricy magnetos

    Thanks guys!

I'm using a MSD crank trigger set-up, cap has a pretty big diameter if you are trying to figure out clearance.
