Been a couple of months since I've had a chance to work on my 1:8 deuce project.
A few shots of where it's at now.

HAcustoms, the models you posted are all out of the park. I particularly like the 59 buick concept car. The detail is amazing.

Ognib, your detail work is amazing also. I wish I had the knowledge, time, and staying power to have the detail you have. I still build models at 60 years old but not to the level you guys build them. Good job.

On the chrome trim on these models is it the tin foil,or is it painted on? Good job whatever it is. Thanks for posting pics. TP

I built a lot of model cars in the '60's but I drove truck for 40 years so I have been building trucks for the past 4 or 5 years but not very many.
My first after all these years was this Pete....................[IMG]Hosted on Fotki

and then a Kenworth glider kit.....................[IMG]Hosted on Fotki
While building a Kenworth logger I tossed this Peterbilt logger into the mix................[IMG]Hosted on Fotki
and..........still working on the KW I started this Peterbilt dump. It's an Ivory color soon to get Orange high lites........................[IMG]Hosted on Fotki and the KW logger......................It's been painted 6 times and hasn't come out right yet. Been on the bench for a couple of years, maybe 3. I'll get to it soon............I hope.......................[IMG]Hosted on Fotki

Best Model Sunday I've seen. Here's where I'm at with my 1/8 scale Tall T, have to wait until summer now, to paint. Chopped, sectioned, channeled, scratch built turtle deck, converted deuce fenders, '55 Buick mill.
