Tunnel your stock taillights!

I absolutely love this!! I personally think that this looks like it just came out of a little book from the 50's. I actually think that this style has been lost and you just brought it back.

So I decided to paint the cream color in my tunnel. I think it looks cool and it reflects the light way better than the green tunnel did.

This thread is very freaking awesome and informative! I want to French a set of 54 lights into the rear fenders of my 39 Chevy project with some peaks a little more aggressive. Crossing my fingers it looks good,........

First off, great how-to write up. Things like these help others . Gives them confidence and shows some of these jobs are not really difficult. Thanks.
I love everything you did on the tail lites. I'd probably tunneled only 1" and used white. But this is great. Adapting original parts shows we don't have to make major changes. Many tail lites would work equally as well but most won't even realize those are original.

Also, here's an updated photo right before Billetproof last year. The Belair molding has been removed and the rear wheel well has been reshaped, rear bumper dropped 4" and scallops. Lookin good, but WAY more to come!
