I found this coupe on the web for sale and am wondering what it is. The owner lists it as a 1927 Dodge but I can't find anything like it. All help is very much appreciated! Rusty

make sure you find a door & deck lid before you buy it.

  3. I agree, however, if it is a good deal buy it. You can make a decklid, door will be difficult but not impossible.

Somehow that looks newer than 1927, if the price is right buy it. Bob

  5. Doesn't look mopar,but get it anyway.

  6. It's not a '27 Dodge. HRP

  7. Do a search for a 29 Dodge coupe. That's what it looks like to me.

Looks like a Victory coupe, only made 87,000 Victories total. They made two distinct bodies too, one a long cowl other short and no parts interchange. Save it for sure, even if just for parts. Mac the Yankee has one.

  13. Yup, that's a Victory Coupe- looks like a short cowl as well, which would put it as an earlier '28.

Nice looking car, did the factory ever offer wire wheels for it? Bob

Buy it and then sell it on prewarcar.com. Then buy a Ford and a case of beer with the money.

Would be cool fenderless with a shorter frontend.

  17. Yup, Bob... my (Dad's old) '28 has them :D

  18. They never offered a rumble seat, though- always wanted to find a coupe and switch the trunk to a rumble :)
