Technical Will this fit?

I have a 36 V8 pickup on its way to the UK from Illinois and need to know if this Ebay item pictured will fit the 21 stud motor. Seller thinks it will but need to know for sure before I buy.

As far as i'm aware all manifolds from '32 - pre 8ba will fit. 8ba manifolds (the ones with the extra large holes at the front for breathers) will fit I THINK but you don't utilize all the mounting holes from memory..

What you have pictured is a stock manifold with a Y adapter on it.

 

Also if you are wanting performance i probably wouldn't recommend a Y adapter as i've heard they don't work all that well. I'd be looking for a twin carb manifold instead.

I would pass on it....lots better w/O the adapter

 

It's a classic piece but only looks wise. It will fit but a two carb manifold is much more effective and better looking. Also cheaper. Just my opinion.

I would go with the 3 -2 setup, they work very well on the street, when set up,

 

from my experience all flathead manifolds are interchangable. the twin carb. adapter is OK, if you block off the front carb. and just run on the back one. unless you are going to really build up that flathead.
