Thanks guys, I love the coupe. I was able to thaw the hood enough to get to the battery. Got her home sitting in the heated garage warming up. Ice was atleast half inch thick.

I had to go put on my hat and gloves and drink some hot chocolate to warm up after seeing those pictures.

Some of my first model cars had paint jobs that looked like that. Drips everywhere.

Had to deal with that myself. If you tap all over the car gently with a rubber mallet the ice will fall off. Helps if you put an electric heater inside for an hour to warm the body first.

To get in the door I put an electric heater against the lock and door handle, covered with a Nomex shirt to trap the heat. A push broom turned upside down held the shirt against the car.

Meanwhile, tapped around the door with the mallet then squirted windshield washer fluid around the door gap. After putting the washer fluid in a squirt bottle and heating it in the microwave.

Once I got inside I left the heater in there until it warmed up the car and made it easy to get the ice off. Opened all the doors, cleaned off the ice and water and sprayed them with Teflon spray from the hardware store.

O well that's winter for you.

Was never into Plymouths for the most part (some), but that car is just killer.

On the way to Torque Fest last year. Our club went through a blizzard and then an ice storm in May. Bias plies, no heat and no wipers on a few of the cars.

Ol' Swedish memories....Dig the truck out of the snow in the morning, hit it with the shovel to get the ice off, open the doors with no rubber seals (frozen to the doors and ripped off earlier)...
By the time you got to work the truck was thawed...nice and warm...for more snow to land on it and melt / freeze again...closed cycle!
