I'm an odd duck as I haven't bought any vintage steel yet, though the desire is definitely there.

    Presently our garage consists of:
2008 Honda Civic Si (Wife's daily driver)
1986 Audi CoupeGT (Was my rainy day car until it became a problem child)
1987 VW Scirocco (Cheap and cheerful restoration)
1982 VW Scirocco (Parts car, additional storage :))
2004 Triumph Speed Triple (My daily rider)

I'm hoping to get the Audi and VW finished up and sell the both of them, scrapping the parts VW. They are my proof of concept of if I'm ready to handle an older project car. I'd really love to find something that is running and not completely falling apart, but in need of restoration. The idea being that I can daily drive it when the weather doesn't suite the motorcycle and wrench on it in the days between. 30's flathead Ford would be a treat, but 60's 289/390 Ford is looking a bit more realistic.

If you can't finish or afford to finish what you have, that's too much.

    '69 Sunbeam GT Fastback
    '69 Austin Mini Cooper S
    96 LandRover Disco *
    2006 Jetta TDI
and an assorted Pile of bits trying to be a car.

I'm trying to offload 1 or 2, knowing I will likely get another.

I have a friend* who has too many. Mostly british cars, numbering 40+ in varrying states of decay sitting in a field rotting. He won't part with them. they will just sit there untill they disolve or get hauled to scrap when there is nothing left. It actually makes me rather sad and angry that he is so selfish that he needs to accumulate cars he has no use for. There's an early 60's Lotus body in there I may just sneak in and steal. make a good start for my "special" project. wonder how long before he'd notice.

When the HOT 100 degree weather calms down ... I will most likely buy another 40 Ford to put in the project space.

Too many, depents on my shop. ;-) jokes a side, it's to many when you know you ain't never gonna fix Them all/drive them/enjoy them/pay insurence/tax them.

3 Volvo 122 (the Danish version of the shobox), a Volvo 142 (for sale) and a 1956 Bedford truck.
And my daily driver, a vw diesel that goes 22km on a liter diesel. I think thats about 51mpg.
A POS but saves my so much money, that I can have 6 cars on a minimum income job.

    Way the hell too many...

    31 A Roadster project
    46 Cadillac Sedanette project
    54 Customline Fordor
56 Packard (Custodian of it, garage queen)
    58 Porsche 356A ***OT***
    60 Lincoln Premiere
60 Lincoln Continental Ragtop project total mess
    60 Vauxhall Velox
62 Vauxhall Velox project (Anyone want it? If someone is willing to save it they can HAVE it)
87 Mustang LX V8 Shell ***OT*** (I want to put a flathead in this just to fuck with people)
    88 BMW M5 ***OT***
93 Range Rover County LWB ***OT***
    97 BMW 740iL ***OT***
    04 Lamborghini Murcielago ***OT***
06 Jag XJ8 ***OT*** Now basically given to my Mom so she can get more speeding tickets :D
07 Lexus GS350 ***OT*** <--I hope this POS burns in hell

I also think I need a 49-51 Merc or Baby Lincoln Coupe.... Plans are...

Finish 60 Lincoln. Sell 60 ragtop, build Cadillac, Build A Roadster.

    Finish those.

Then get hands on (Perhaps not in this order) 56 Lincoln premiere coupe and 59 Mercury.

I also need to own a 37 Ford and a 37 Zephyr. Both must be coupes.

I don't have wife and kids, this is how I do it :D

2012 VW Tiguan, 2007, mini cooper S, my work van 2007 Chrysler minivan, btw one of the most dependable vehicles I have EVER owned, 2007 Yamaha 125cc scooter and my under construction modified based on a 29 RPU. I usually have just lone project car, with the snow and ice we get here you really can't leave anything outside, it gets expensive having lots of garage an storage space, the worst part here is paying the fucking property taxes!

Not including modern grocery getters. This summer I licensed my 50 merc sedan and my 49 merc coupe plus I am gathering parts for a 49 merc rag. I would like to sell the sedan to help finance the rag. I guess three is to many.

  28. Too many cars is not my problem, not enough parking is.
More paved parking, and more indoor would make life easier.
