Thanks, Boones. It's like taking candy from a baby when it's a cool car and it's parked next to a AA/FD for reflective purposes! Hahah

My buddy Jerry French has a good eye, good taste, so he shot these. He doesn't post on HAMB, so here ya go. Better shots than I got.

This is it for a while. Leaving for Austin today and will shoot the Revolution Saturday. I have more photos from Goodguys, too. Editing and posting will take time.

This may be the first 4-stack Hilborn I have ever seen on the street. Impressive![IMG]

I realize that Butch Tucker has a really nice engine and trunk in his '51, but man, Just once I would like to shoot this car closed!

I think I know this car. Is it a '32 highboy roadster out of Las Vegas with a Nailhead? If so, the car is really nice. HOME BUILT to compete in last years GNRS but there was some very small hang up that made him a day late, so he's driving the hell out of it. Really nice guy!

I think it's a good idea. And I'm as pure a '32 purist as you can find.

Odd that '37 truck grilles look ok on '33's and '34's, but look that bad on a '32.

It's an AWESOME idea! And, it belongs to a buddy of mine, Charlie Summerall here in town. I got to meet the original builder this weekend, Ed Belknap. One of his other projects back in the day was the nose and sheet metal work for Ewing's Super Bell coupe back in the seventies.

This car is truly stunning in person, and I was honored when Charlie asked me to build a louvered tail pan for it last year. It's powered by a hopped up 292 Chevy six.

I can't tell you how they are branded, but they are available through Coker dealers. Just look at the tread patterns in their catalog and you'll see them.

  27. Good stuff Tom. I love the flames on the Merc. Maybe if I ever repaint my 40 I'll do something similar. :)

That grill looks great on that 5 window. Maybe cuz of the angle its leaning back.
