I needed to jump start my 1950 Flathead ,v8 ( 6 volt system) because of a weak battery. I did so with a 12 volt system from my truck... now the starter won't turn over the engine. Did I blow the starter Solenoid or the starter itself? 12 volt leads were on the 6 volt battery maybe 10-15 seconds....any suggestions how to fix would be appreciated very much....

Was the truck running? I know usually if we jumped a 6v we wouldn't have the 12v running and immediately take the cables off
