Not everyone can do what you are doing and so far what you have done is looking good.

brilliant!!! i really liked it with the cut down truck roof, removable; even better. lots of weldin though, but im a lot better at welding than shaping so id probly tackle this job the same way. next time i wont be so quick to turn down that rusty old truck cab!!!!

Thanks guys, I hope to get the front steering completed today and try to get back on finishing the top. Dose anyone have any pros or cons on friction shocks?

I built a set of friction shocks for my A sedan, they worked well. My brother has a set on his T roadster also.

With some help from the guys here on hamb I was able to nail down the correct radiator for my T. It took me and a buddy of mine all day to make the brackets to hold the radiator and also the headlights. I really wanted to set the grill about 3 inches lower, but do to the spring and other issues I had no other options but to place it where it sits at the present. I was also able the set the steering box in, seems to fit perfectly.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!!!!!! AND GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND THERE FAMILYS!!!!!!

I just couldn't leave the grill shell the way it was, it showed to much of the axel and front part of the frame. I ended up adding 3 inches to the bottom from another grill I had, by doing that it covered the axel and for the most part the frame.
With that done I moved to making brackets for the lights.

I agree about the top, it just something I threw together to see what it would look like with a top. I plan to finish all my chassis work and put it to paint before I do any more work on the body.

Innovative and resourceful work! You've spawned a movement where guys can
imagine a build. Many a de-roofed coupster looks less appealing, you got the stance and lines that say hotrod.

Here are some old pics showing what I started with. It pretty much was a wasted truck with no option to try to restore.
